 2008 MOTONEWS.COM MOTOCROSS / SUPERCROSS SERIES

» Vegas: Jock wins it! Cotoxxx put on a late charge and stole 2nd from Rangerdirk. Congrats to Kirker who won the final round and jumped up to 4th overall. My friend Berno got smoked in the early rounds but figured it all out and finished 5th. Balance of top 20 was: beatdogg, snoogans, dleppek9, david, ecamx91, mxerdw, billy34, the_team, ssspectator, mxbrink, whitey, bruceb, ns503, kenny_t, wtgr.

Hope everyone had fun. See you in the great outdoors!
» Seattle: It's a Canadian sweep! ns503 takes the win followed by mx101 and PK15 and Berno. Too bad our Canadian racers didn't grab the first four spots in the SX class as well! This Jock fella sure is consistent. He scored 161 points in Seattle and leads by 29 points heading in Vegas, the final round. Anything can happen, of course, but that's a lot of points to make up and he's been really consistent all season and has really put a charge on in the last few rounds. Rangerdirk is second overall followed closely by Cotoxxx, ECAMX91, Snoogans, David, Kirker, Dleppek9, MXERdw and Beatdogg. A lot of these teams have been in the lead or at least on the podium several times this season so it's been one of the best in our 8 year history. Thanks to everyone for playing and thanks to Hutch for the prizes and CASH payouts for the top 10 overall! [Select Riders], [Top Picks]
» St. Louis: Dirt Diggers takes the win this week followed by PeruMX, AZ450rider and Shurshot. Jock continues to lead by 13 pts. Only two rounds to go! I opened up the third mandatory rider selection a little bit to offer more options. Lites West resumes this weekend! If you finished in the top 3, please send your name, motonews username and full address to Hutch.
» Detroit: Results are posted on mototalk. Nuttyman wins Detroit followed by Snoogans and Rangerdirk. David scored 130 points and fell from the lead to 6th. We have a tight battle this year at the top. Jock pulls into the lead again followed by ECAMX91, Rangerdirk, Beatdogg, Dleppek9 and David. Entry will be open on Monday.
» Dallas: Results are posted on mototalk. We have a 3-way battle for the lead!
» Toronto: Results are posted. ROBBIE430 is on a tear and scores 183 points. He's jumped all the way up to 40th with his 177 last week and 183 this week. BILLY34 was second this week followed by RIDLEY from Saskatchewan. JOCK still holds onto a 10 point lead but he has some new competitors in DAVID and DLEPPEK9 who both had big rounds in Toronto. DAVID always seems to come on strong at the end each season so watch out JOCK! RANGERDIRK did fairly well with 135 points but that dropped him from 2nd to 4th. BILLY34 jumped up to 5th. Quite a season!
» Toronto: Remember this is a points paying round. We are running a Lites class but the big names are not there. Click here for a thread with the roster. Click here for practice results (links open a pdf document.
» Minneapolis: Results have been posted on mototalk. 180 points for SNOOGANS! Special mention to MOTOCROSSMOM who was second with 178 and I guess ROBBIE430 with 177 as well..... Hey, where are all these high points coming from this week? Don't ask me or GFORCE how everyone did it, we tied for pretty much dead last with 116 points. sheesh.

JOCK continues to tear it up and extended his lead over RANGERDIRK to 10 pts. We have a tight battle for 3rd place. The host will have top reset the database link and I have to update pricing so give me a few days to open it back up. If you finished in the top 3, please send your name, motonews username and full address to Hutch.
» Daytona: Congrats to BERNO who takes the win this week over TBTEAM and BRUCEB. JOCK steals the overall lead over RANGERDIRK AND BEATDOGG. If you finished in the top 3, please send your name, motonews username and full address to Hutch.
» Indy: HENRYRIVERNUGGETS takes the win over BIGERN and AZ450RIDER. If you finished in the top 3, please send your name, motonews username and full address to Hutch.
» Atlanta: Congrats to SCRUBBIN who takes the win this week over Johndemonaco and Muscleman. Beatdogg pulled away a bit this week so you guys better keep him in check. Give me a day or two to update rider pricing and I'll open up the picks. If you finished in the top 3, please send your name, motonews username and full address to Hutch.
» Houston: Great season so far! We've got a good battle for the overall lead with BEATDOGG moving into a tie with ECAMX91. KIRKER and JOCK are only a few points back. My buddy CRACKER from New Brunswick takes the win this week followed by another Canuck, RIDLEY, and MXPAUL802 from NY. If you finished in the top 3, please send your name, motonews username and full address to Hutch. Entry is open for Atlanta.
» San Diego: QUIKNIC takes the win followed by VW57 and PD441. ECAMX91 puts an aggressive block pass on JOCK and takes the overall lead. If you finished in the top 3, please send your name, motonews username and full address to Hutch. Entry is open for Houston!
» Jason Lawrence currently leads the list for the most popular pick for SD. For the top 10 picks, click here.

» Results for A3 have been posted on motonews. This round is dedicated to Jason Rynders, MotofFiend, who lost his life this week to cancer. Cherie Reynard, RRsis, broke the news to everyone this week. Jason was only 34 years old and is survived by his wife and young daughter. A service will be held on Feb 6th at Lakeview Memorial Park in Fairview Hts, IL. Jason was a long-time motoleague player and a great competitor, winning quite a few rounds over the years. Lately, I have found myself searching for his results first when I post the update. It's painful to think that we won't be able to do that any longer so we have decided to keep his team going for the season. He scored 6th place at A2 so we have decided to use that team as a baseline and Cherie replaced Tedesco and Dungey with Millsaps and Lawrence to adjust for injuries and budget changes. It turned out to be a heck of a change as Millsaps podiumed in the SX class and Lawrence won the Lites class. Nice pics Cherie! MotofFiend's team placed 12th for A3 and he holds down 7th in the standings. RIP Jason. Above are some logo designs created by JosephB, PHCROSS and AZ450Rider. Thanks guys!
